| Homeland Security Secretary is promoting what the U.S. can learn from Israeli methods.
"That's a scenario where Israel has a lot of experience," said Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff in an interview with Reuters. "I think that it is of interest to us to see if there is any adaptation there." Israel's Ben-Gurion International Airport, known for its strict security measures, relies heavily on techniques that detect suspicious behavior among travelers. Chertoff said such methods, as well as Israeli technologies that detect explosives, are some of the things that may help protect U.S. airports and other public places against attacks. Chertoff, at a conference in Jerusalem for public and homeland security ministers from around the world, signed an agreement with Israel to share technology and information on methods to improve homeland security."

"After serving many years with
Police Assistance Missions in the Balkans I was very curious
how Israel's Security services are dealing nowadays with
it's problems at the borders but also preventing and combating
terrorism and crime inside the state territory. The CT Mission
in February 2008 organized by the Shaneson Consulting Group
Inc. offered an extremely deep inside information package
about the work of the State Police, the Intelligence Services,
the Military and the judicial system. I was highly impressed
about the professionalism and the quality of both the personal
and the equipment used in the different institutions. I
would like to stress in particular that the very tense situation
in the country is causing an immense burden for all state
institutions and I learned during this week how to deal
with it. I think such a mission should be mandatory for
all those who are in management positions in their home
countries and have to deal with terrorism matters. The mission
is not only an adequate learning process for practitioners
in law enforcement but also an opportunity for senior executive
personal in the Security sector in order to prepare their
own organizations in the fight against terrorism. Beside
the missions tight schedule the participants also found
some time to enjoy wonderful historical sites and delicious
food in Jerusalem and in the country. The price paid and
the time used for the CT mission is a real investment for
professionals and I do know for sure that I am going to
join again one of the next excursions organized by Shaneson
Consulting Group Inc."

"The Ultimate Counter Terrorist Mission of February
2008 was a true success. The information, training, and
overall experience of the mission should not be missed by
anyone in the fields of security, governmental planning
and/or law enforcement. Future missions are crucial to the
preservation of the Western World’s lifestyle in the years
to come."
